Features

Page cache served by the web server, used CSS computed locally, delayed scripts, image optimization, measurements: every Celeris feature explained.

Celeris is a set of independent switches. Each one is safe to try, and each one tells you what it changes.

Page cache

HTML files served by Apache or Nginx without starting PHP. Separate mobile cache, precompressed gzip, targeted purge on every change.

Used CSS

Every page is analysed in the background: only the styles it uses are inlined, the rest loads without blocking rendering.

Delayed scripts

Trackers, chats and maps only start on the first user interaction. Everything else is deferred after rendering.

Images

Lazy loading, missing dimensions filled in, WebP and AVIF generated and served, YouTube and Vimeo replaced by their thumbnail.

Built-in measurements

Response time with and without Celeris, PageSpeed scores before and after, right from your WordPress dashboard.

Server and CDN

Apache rules written for you, Nginx snippet provided, purge relayed to Varnish and Cloudflare, rewriting to your CDN.
